NWBP Strategic Neighborhood Revitalization Plan
BACKGROUND
NWBP manages the grant application and management process for most Northwest nonprofits seeking funding from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development's Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative (BRNI) . BRNI supports communities in Baltimore City and County through strategic investment in local housing and small businesses.
Community Development Organizations must have an approved strategic neighborhood revitalization plan in order to apply for BRNI funding. NWBP's original revitalization plan was developed in 2018 and updated in 2020. During FY23, NWBP is engaging in a strategic planning process, facilitated by Neighborhood Design Center, to update this plan.
